Includes 6–10 wines + charcuterie from The Spotted Trotter
Wine School is our monthly deep dive into a single region, producer, or theme — designed to make wine feel approachable, layered, and genuinely fun.
We gather the first Wednesday of every month from 7–9pm at Burle’s, led by sommelier and wine educator Adam Venable. Each session blends storytelling and guided tasting in a relaxed, conversational setting — never a lecture.
Guests taste 6–10 wines, depending on the focus for the month, alongside thoughtfully curated charcuterie from The Spotted Trotter.
Interactive and welcoming to all levels, Wine School is built for curious drinkers — whether you're just getting started or already deep in the details.
What to expect:
A guided tasting of 6–10 wines
Insight into region, producers, and winemaking styles
Discussion and Q&A with Adam
Charcuterie from The Spotted Trotter
Takeaways you’ll actually use when ordering or buying wine
Seating is intentionally limited to keep the experience conversational and intimate.
Tickets are released monthly and tend to sell out.
Join us the first Wednesday of each month and explore wine in a way that’s equal parts educational and enjoyable.
March Wine School
Broadbent Selections: A Study in Importing with Intention
Wednesday, March 4, 2026 | 7 - 9pm
For March, we’re shifting our focus from a single region to a curator — exploring the portfolio of Broadbent Selections, one of the most respected family-focused importers in the United States.
Founded in 1996 by Bartholomew Broadbent, the company is known for representing heritage-driven, family-owned estates around the world. From Portugal and France to South Africa and Lebanon, Broadbent works directly with producers to showcase wines that express terroir, tradition, and authenticity.
This month, we’ll taste seven wines from three standout estates within the Broadbent portfolio:
Sadie Family Wines — Swartland, South Africa
Founded by Eben Sadie in 1999, Sadie Family Wines helped redefine modern South African wine through old-vine sourcing and minimal intervention. The wines are celebrated for their intensity, complexity, and clear sense of place.
Château Musar — Bekaa Valley, Lebanon
Established in 1930, Château Musar has earned international acclaim for its expressive, ageworthy wines and remarkable story of perseverance. Its distinctive style has developed a devoted global following.
Elderton Wines — Barossa Valley, Australia
A historic estate dating back to the late 1800s and revived in 1979, Elderton is known for powerful yet balanced Barossa classics, including wines from century-old vines.
As always, the evening will be guided by Adam Venable and paired with charcuterie from The Spotted Trotter at our long table in the lounge below Burle’s.
